About

Born and based in the lively central UK city of Birmingham, LORENKA (otherwise known as Lauren Janiec) is a young singer that has expressed herself through musical theatre, dance and her voice since the young age of six years old, when she started taking examinations in singing, working all the way up to Grade 8. As a child, she had a huge imagination and adored listening to her father perform; it was evident that one day she would work in the creative industry. Having performed at popular venues including the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall, The Hippodrome and The Cavern Club, Lauren has shared the stage with musicians such as Bev Bevan from ELO and Jo Boyce, and in front of the Lord Mayor of Birmingham. Lauren's style is ever-changing as she enjoys experimenting with different genres, including Pop, R&B, Indie, Rock and Soul. She has a broad musical taste, with lyrics that reflect relatable life experiences and social issues in the world.
